Kuala Lumpur airport transfers: KLIA T1, T2 and Subang, with a name-board meet and per-car pricing

What the transfer includes

This is a private point-to-point transfer: one vehicle for your group only, going straight from the airport to the address you give us. No sharing with strangers and no detours to pick up other passengers. It includes:

• 24-hour service: red-eye arrivals, dawn landings and late-night departures can all be arranged.
• Live flight tracking: the driver works to your actual landing time, so if the flight is early or delayed you do not need to rebook anything.
• Name-board meet: the driver waits at the arrival hall exit holding a board with your name.
• 60 minutes of free waiting: immigration queues and baggage belts take time, so there is no need to rush.
• Help with luggage, and bottled water in the car.
• Three languages: drivers can communicate in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Departure transfers work the same way in reverse: the driver collects you from your hotel or home at the agreed time and drops you at the departure level of the right terminal.

Airports and destinations we cover

We cover both of Kuala Lumpur's passenger airports: Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and the smaller Subang airport, which is closer to the city. Your destination does not have to be central Kuala Lumpur. Common requests include:

• Airport to and from the city: hotels and homes in Bukit Bintang, KLCC, Mid Valley, Petaling Jaya and elsewhere.
• Airport straight to Genting: skip the city and head up the hill as soon as you land; see KLIA to Genting Highlands for the route.
• Airport to another state: Malacca, Port Dickson, Ipoh, Penang, Johor Bahru and so on. These are long-distance trips and are quoted per journey.

Choosing a vehicle

Because we price per car rather than per person, choosing a vehicle comes down to two numbers: how many people and how many bags. Here is the recommended capacity for each type:

The economy sedan is the only vehicle with a published starting price: KLIA transfers from RM100 one way, per car. The actual quote depends on your destination, vehicle and time; other vehicle types and Subang transfers are quoted per trip.

What to send when you book

Message us on WhatsApp or WeChat with the following and we can quote quickly and accurately:

1. Flight number and date: far more precise than "KLIA", because it tells the driver the terminal and landing time.
2. Passengers: number of adults and children, and whether anyone is elderly or has limited mobility.
3. Luggage: number of checked bags and any oversized items.
4. Pickup or drop-off address: hotel name or full address.
5. The name for the board, plus a contact that works after you land.

The process is simple: you message us, we send a quote, you confirm, we assign a driver and vehicle, and the driver meets your flight or collects you at the agreed time. Enquiries are free and there is no prepayment. You get the quote before anything is booked.

Meeting your driver after landing

After landing, clear immigration and collect your bags. As you walk out of the arrival hall you will see people waiting with boards, and your driver will be holding one with your name. When to leave for a departing flight

Work backwards from your departure time. A common rule of thumb:

• International flights: aim to be at the airport about 3 hours before departure.
• Domestic flights: aim for about 2 hours before departure.
• Add the drive: central Kuala Lumpur to KLIA takes about an hour, and can take noticeably longer at rush hour, in heavy rain or on public holidays. Allow an extra 30–60 minutes.

So for an international flight from central Kuala Lumpur, you will usually want to leave about 4 hours before departure, or earlier. Coming straight from Genting or Malacca, allow more. Check-in cut-off times vary by airline, and it is worth leaving earlier if you have a lot of luggage, need a tax refund or are travelling with children or older relatives. This is general guidance only and depends on your flight and the traffic; when you book, we will work out a pickup time with you based on your flight.

Compared with the airport train, buses and e-hailing

There are several ways into the city from KLIA, and each suits different travellers:

If you are travelling alone with light luggage and staying near KL Sentral, the train is quick and convenient. A booked transfer makes more sense for families with children or older relatives, lots of luggage, late-night or early-morning flights, first-time visitors who want less to think about, and anyone heading straight to Genting or another state.
